This is the second wave/session of our national diabetes prevention program. Classes will be held on Monday evenings from 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM at the Health Professions Building in rooms 115 & 116.
This is a lifestyle change program that will focus on healthy eating and physical activity for people with prediabetes or diabetes. People with prediabetes who take part in a structured lifestyle change program can cut their risk of developing Type II diabetes by 58% (71% for people over 60 years old).
