Healthy Lifestyle 101

Healthy Lifestyle 101 is a free, interactive workshop offered by the Healthy Lifestyle Center that focuses on the benefits of following a healthy lifestyle. Students from the Ball State College of Health and IU School of Medicine-Muncie will provide information and activities that will help educate you on the components of a healthy lifestyle. Topics include diet and nutrition, physical activity and exercise, mental wellness, and other healthy lifestyle behaviors and choices. Time for questions and answers is included. Additionally, some important health screenings (e.g. blood pressure, BMI, and heart rate) will be available. Living a healthy life may be easier than you think- let us help you get on the right path to improving your health!

Why live a Healthy Lifestyle?

Research has shown that adopting a healthier lifestyle can increase your life expectancy by up to 10 years! This includes regular exercise, eating healthy, maintaining a healthy weight, not smoking, and consuming alcohol in moderation.
