We're More Than Experts. We're Your Personal Cheerleader.

We believe that treatment for disease doesn’t have to be your only option. When you partner with The Healthy Lifestyle Center (HLC), you can learn how to prevent disease and illness long before they even happen. You’ll discover how small changes in diet, exercise, and mental health behaviors can make a dramatic impact on your personal health outcomes, and you won’t ever have to worry about doing it alone. We join you every step of the way, cheering you on and empowering you to live a healthier and happier life.

How Qualified Are the HLC Staff Members?

The HLC was created by a group of experts from the Ball State University College of Health. Our areas of expertise include audiology, counseling, exercise science, health science, nursing, nutrition, speech pathology, and social work. We are working in collaboration with Meridian Health Services and The IU School of Medicine-Muncie, and when you partner with us, you will work one-on-one with a specialized team of Ball State University professors, BSU students, and IU medical students.

Our Leadership Team

Living a Healthy Lifestyle Might Be Easier Than You Think.

There’s a lot of talk out there on how to best live a healthy life. Hard-to-follow diets. Expensive gym memberships. A growing list of foods to never eat.

If you listen to all the advice, you might start to believe that living a healthy life requires a lot of money, more than your fair share of self-blame, and endless restrictions.

We get it. For many, the idea of healthy living can be so overwhelming that it feels downright impossible.

So, we’ve committed to something: When you work with us, we’ll avoid guilt trips and finger pointing, and our discussions will never center around what you should have done. Instead, we’ll turn every ounce of our focus towards what YOU CAN DO.

You’ve found your way to the Healthy Lifestyle Center, and that means you’ve already taken a huge step to improve your health. We want to do all we can to help you keep moving forward.
